Pay Rate: $24 hr

A thriving home improvement/décor company in Tampa, FL is seeking a Service Desk Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis.  The Service Desk Analyst will provide excellent customer service to IT users that are experiencing technical issues.  The ideal candidate will possess engineering skills in laptop, tablet, desktop, wireless, mobile, system access, basic security, and printer technologies. 

  • Ability to work independently as well as under supervision.
  • Experience handling stressful situations.
  • Stay up to date with new technologies.
  • Communicate with internal customers in a professional manner while solving technical issues.
  • Excellent phone skills.
  • Previous experience using and managing a ticketing system.
  • Utilize monitoring systems to help determine root causes of customer issues.
  • High level troubleshooting skills.
  • Follow Infrastructure Solution Design established by Engineering staff.
  • Provide off hours support as needed, usually 1 weekend a month.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • 2 years managing Windows 2007/2010 and related software.
  • 2 years experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • 1 year using an IT Ticketing System, specifically BMC, Service Now or CherWell.
  • 1 year prior experience working on laptops, desktops, & Tablets.
  • Experience with iPhone and Galaxy Smartphones.
  • Hands on experience setting up Cisco VOIP desktop phones.
  • Label Printer experience.
