We are seeking a motivated, driven, Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The person will be responsible for the cultivation and management of our current staffing clients in addition to informing and finding new clients interested in our staffing services.
Sales (60%)
  • Hunt for new business.  Make sales calls to new and existing clients, identify new job order opportunities through relationship building, strategic territory canvassing, cold calls, internet research, client referrals, attending staffing industry events, relationship building, etc.
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person.
  • Develop and make sales presentations of staffing services to current and potential clients.
  • Develop sales proposals and prepare and present sales contracts.  Negotiate with client to establish appropriate bill rates, contract terms, and fees for incoming job orders.
  • Identify and understand the client’s needs, propose and close staffing solution, qualify and prioritize new job orders, fully communicate the needs of the client and critical client information (i.e., company culture, environment, etc.) to the Recruiters, and follow-up with client to ensure customer satisfaction with delivery of expected staffing services.
Recruiting Liaison (30%)
  • Desire to serve as a partner to a team of Recruiters, building trust and rapport internally
  • Build a robust pipeline of business which will lead to a consistent flow of job orders for the recruiters to fill
Client Relationships (10%)
  • Promote TargetCW staffing services to clients by determining and implementing appropriate marketing techniques, including regular visits to prospects and current clients.
  • Be continuously alert and responsive to changing business environment and potential business opportunities.  Look for opportunities to sustain regular contact with clients and improve client retention. 
  • 5+ years of Business Development experience, with a staffing agency or similar industry.
  • Networking, relationship management, and social media guru.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and history of success in outside sales with solid understanding of the staffing industry.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills.
  • Ability to gain access to and cultivate strong relationships with hiring managers and Human Resources decision makers.
  • Proficient at handling difficult client negotiations with professionalism and respect.
  • Ability to develop an independent viewpoint and present a compelling business case to support recommendations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business partners by building personal credibility and solid trust.
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System and CRM.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to exceptional customer service, nurture a positive team environment with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Ability to self-motivate and self-direct with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Sense of urgency, high professionalism, honesty & integrity.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed.
