Our client is a leading local SEO platform that helps enterprise retail brands and agencies managing multiple locations increase their revenue. They are looking for an energetic, dynamic, and personable HR Director to join their team!  This position is the first HR role in a rapidly growing organization. They are looking for an HR ninja who can handle all things HR, including office administration, event planning with a heavy emphasis on recruiting in the short term. HR Director is responsible for guiding the company culture and organizational strategy to attract, develop, reward and retain the best talent. 

This role contributes to the health and success of the organization by having a deep understanding of the business priorities and proactively collaborating with the senior executive team to identify, develop, and implement talent strategies that meet the needs of the business. The HR Director must have expertise in Recruiting, Learning & Development, HR Operations, Compensation and Employee Relations. In this role, you will guide the organization toward best in class policies, practices, and trends. Reporting to the CEO, and influencing at all levels; this role offers challenge, growth and the reward of being part of the cultural transformation.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Leading recruitment functions—sourcing leads from job ads, finding/poaching candidates from LinkedIn, working with recruiters (including minimizing costs and the dependency on them!), screening, interview scheduling, employment verifications, and background checks.
  • Prepare and process new hire packets, roll-out companywide performance reviews and termination documents
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of company events. The company has created a great company culture driven by team building, accountability, and celebration of our victories. We celebrate big, but expect a keen negotiation on costs to maximize the fun!
  • Managing and improving job descriptions, maintaining performance review procedures are met, conducting exit interviews and creating and updating personnel forms.
  • Review documentation for enrollments, changes, and terminations of participants in all benefit plans and programs including conducting exit interviews and capturing feedback to disseminate back to leadership.
  • Creates an environment of approachability and efficiency when responding to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures andprograms. Our team is our greatest asset and we want minimal concerns on HR related items to focus on performance and job satisfaction.
  • Process payroll and some benefit management responsibilities.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures and reporting comply.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years broad Human Resources experience including at least one leadership role.
  • Extensive Recruiting experience. We’re hiring very fast!  Ability to identify and recruit the very best talent using Linkedin Recruiter.  Previous full time recruiting is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree; in-process degrees acceptable, courses relevant to business administration, business management, human resources, change management and/or organizational development a huge plus.
  • Prior experience coaching and partnering with senior leaders
  • High level of comfort with most HR disciplines (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Organizational Development, Operations, ER)
