Our client is a leading local SEO platform that helps enterprise retail brands and agencies managing multiple locations increase their revenue. They are looking for an experienced, meticulous, energetic, and personable Senior Accountant professional to join their team! This position will report directly to the VP of Finance and will play a significant role in our rapidly growing organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for handling daily accounting requirements as well as assisting in many of the requisite finance functions.

This role contributes to the health and success of the organization by providing timely and accurate financial information that supports the executive team’s decision-making process and strategic direction setting. Additionally, you will be interacting with all departments to better understand needs thereby bolstering their ability to perform.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Daily accounting functions including performing invoicing and cash collection activities.
  • Processing and payment of vendor invoices.
  • General ledger accountability.
  • Calculating and processing commissions and bonuses.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Monthly closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Working closely with various functional groups to accomplish company objectives.
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with finance or business studies a plus. Masters degree or certification a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years in previous accounting role with at least one Senior level position.
  • Experience in SaaS or Software based company desired.
  • Experience auditing or working at a public company a plus.
  • Ability to keep company and personal information confidential.
  • Must be proficient with Excel, Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, Salesforce and other relevant software to the position. Experience with Gusto, Expensify,, Chargify and Xactly software a plus.
