A leading provider of Healthcare IT solutions and clinical information exchange software solutions is seeking a Sr. HCM Project Manager (HR) to join their team.
 
Overview
As the Sr. HCM Project Manager, you will provide project management support and control for various internal HR projects such as HRIS optimization and enhancements and system implementations. The ideal candidate will have experience successfully managing multiple project simultaneously.  Because of this, the need for a highly skilled, results driven project manager is imperative. 
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Act as the overall project manager for HR projects.
  • Manage working relationships between third party vendors and HR organization. 
  • Establish standards, key measures, and metrics.
  • Organize, initiate, and manage projects from start to finish.
  • Create positive and collaborative relationships with customers.
  • Hold a clear understanding of internal and external customer requirements and measurement criteria.
  • Define, identify, manage, and control changes to project scope.
  • Escalate problems that may arise to upper management to ensure project stay on agreed timeline.
  • Manage project risk assessments, analyze problem areas and help resolve issues and disputes with third party vendors.
  • Manage vendor performance.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Be responsible for risk and issue management.
  • Be the SWAT leader for HR Systems (HCM) escalations
  • Support the management of Workday task assignments to the HCM and Talent Acquisition teams.
 
Qualifications:
  • At least 10+ years of progressive large project management experience.
  • BA degree.
  • PMP, Six Sigma or comparable certification is preferred.
  • Experience implementing/supporting HRIS implementations and functionality.
  • Advanced project management skills with experience in planning,
  • Experience executing multiple medium to large scale projects from definition through implementation concurrently, including multi-phase, multi-track projects
  • Comfortable working within an existing IT project governance framework;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and experienced in using a project planning tool.
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle project management, software development, and infrastructure deployment methodologies and industry best practices
  • Experience using Workday user and organization configuration
  • Experience with Workday business process and transactions management to support troubleshooting/escalation.
