Our client, a leader in Aerospace Manufacturing, is seeking a Production Supervisorto assist them.  The Production Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of productions personnel within the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure production workers are following the daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
  • Review production schedules, specifications, and priorities to plan department work assignments. 
  • Meets or exceeds the goals set for the department.
  • Complete and update all necessary production paperwork and records.
  • Assists team to review, analyze, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure equipment is in a safe and efficient operation.
  • Understands schematic drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work orders for workers.
  • Requisitions, obtains, and distributes supplies and materials such as consumable materials and hand tools.
  • Help with analyzing production, quality control, and test reports to detect production problems.
  • Examines samples of in-process assembly’s products to make sure they are up to quality standards.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and disciplinary actions up to, and including, termination of supervised employees.
  • Manage timekeeping system for employees.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Prepare reports and presentation of departmental information as required.
  • 1+ years’ experience as a lead or supervisory role in an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.
  • 3-5 years manufacturing experience in electro/mechanical assembly
  • Ability to resolve conflict situations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office- specifically Word & Excel.
This position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending.  Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.  Must be able to handle urgencies associated with production demands and employment relations issues.
