Position Summary:
Due to a significant increase in recruiting activity, the company would like to bring on a Contract Technical Recruiter who can play a varied role in the team, including sourcing and candidate generation and end-to-end recruitment depending on capability and the team's requirements. Specifically you will work on a number of tech, product and engineering requirements in the US and internationally. 
This role will report to the head of the dynamic and globally-focused Talent Acquisition team.  You will face off with the business both locally and internationally, delivering on a variety of functional roles across Software Development, Product and IT roles.  This role will be a great opportunity for a recruiter who is looking to leverage their candidate generation and business relationship-building skills in a highly transformative and evolving company.  

Job Responsibilities:
  • Identify and source talent for approved roles through advertising, networking and utilizing candidate generation and corporate networking platforms.
  • Effectively face off with candidates, articulate the unique value proposition of the firm, and get candidates engaged on the Diligent proposition.
  • Work with and advise candidates through the interviewing and offer stages of our recruitment process, presenting a strong representation of the company employer brand along the way. 
  • Advise candidates on benefits, salary and culture and effectively work through salary and offer negotiations.
  • Leverage the use of technology, including applicant tracking systems and other recruiting systems to track applicants from sourcing through to on-boarding.
  • Assist the team and our Recruitment Coordinator as needed with scheduling, coordination of interviews, posting roles online and drafting offer documents. 
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-4 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience either in-house or from a reputable recruitment firm.
  • Strong experience in tech and software development recruitment
  • Ability to deliver on a high-volume, varied role portfolio.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially in Excel
  • Highly motivated to deliver on goals and business requirements.
  • Warm, professional and engaging disposition
  • Analytical and results focused, but with a strong ability to multitask
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, across all audience levels
  • Comfort working both independently and in a team setting
  • Accountability mindset, for oneself and others
  • Available for an onsite, 6 month contract with longer-term potential.
