Summary:
 
QC Inspectors fill a critical role in the production of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), by ensuring that the final product meets the quality expectation prior to shipping to the customer. The job involves the use of hand tools, microscopes, micrometer, and fab prints.
 
Responsibilities:
  • QC Inspectors report directly to the Quality Supervisor and are responsible for visually inspecting the panels through-out several processes of manufacturing.
  • In-process inspection through Pre-etch and Pre-mask magnification
  • Determine acceptability of product using customer print and workmanship standards and pass the defect review test.
  • Able to use hand tools to complete inspection (micrometers, calipers, pin gages, etc.) for measuring and recording dimensional requirements (hole size, thickness, board length, width, etc.)
  • In-process inspection through Pre-etch and Pre-mask magnification
  • Determine acceptability of product using customer print and workmanship standards and pass the defect review test.
  • Able to use hand tools to complete inspection (micrometers, calipers, pin gages, etc.) for measuring and recording dimensional requirements (hole size, thickness, board length, width, etc.)
  • Requires routine viewing of product through 10-40x magnification scopes at the QC workstation
 
Education and/or Experience:
  • 1 year of experience in printed circuit board manufacturing is preferred
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
