Position Summary:
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:
  • Development of Unit Test and automated functional test using TypeScript, JavaScript and Protractor
  • Creation of test cases and test collateral
  • Review of code and test ware
  • Identify defects, assist in determining the origin and root cause
  • Work on a large, complex software system and be interested in solving complex software problems in a collaborative agile environment
  • Learn quickly in a highly-collaborative workspace that encourages pairing and knowledge sharing, and values quality practices such as test-driven development
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Will consider sponsorship for qualified applicants except those currently in F-1 or J-1 status.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Software Testing, Software Development, Applications Engineering work or other Testing/Quality Assurance role.
  • Experience programming in a scripted language
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
  • Working knowledge of software test methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of virtual machines and different network configurations.
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, handle uncertainty and ambiguity, and ability to contribute quickly
  • Experience working on a team using Agile, unit testing and automation
  • Familiarity with the creation of test cases and manual test scripts.
Highly Desirable:
  • Experience programming with TypeScript, JavaScript and Protractor
  • Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, git
  • Knowledge of industrial automated control systems
