Our client is established is a leading technology and SaaS company. Their mission is to drive the advancement of cannabis legalization and provide the software, services and data platforms that underpin the B2B and B2C segments. Headquartered in Irvine, CA, with additional locations across the United States, Canada and the EU, they have over 400 employees and are expanding rapidly! They are looking for a Maintenance/Facilities Specialist to help with make sure the office looks neat and presentable for employees and the public!

***Potential for advancement opportunity: Facilities & Grounds Coordinator/ Lead Maintenance***

.Job Responsibilities: 
  • Set up desks for new hires and move desks and other furniture as tasked by management
  • Work alongside Tech Support and Facilities to coordinate and execute office moves and seating reassignments as needed 
  • Complete minor repairs and building improvements
  • Basic maintenance tasks including, trash removal, front lobby support, and general office maintenance needs
  • Work with management to create an effective cleaning schedule, which will include day-to-day routines and one-off facilities projects within a work timetable
  • Assemble and deliver furniture for employees upon management’s request
  • Help detail conference rooms and other common  meeting areas such as kitchens, lobbies and break out rooms
  • Monitor, clean and service restrooms. Stock men’s restrooms with toiletry supplies
  • Respond to any major spills or other cleaning needs
  • Occasional touch-up painting  

Job Requirements: 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+yrs experience as a Custodian/Facilities Specialist
  • Must have ability to lift 75-100 lbs
  • Ability to work after hours (not 8-5), weekends as necessary
  • Basic (entry-level) AV/Information Technology knowledge a plus
  • Familiar with an office setting
  • Experience working for a technology company a plus
  • Detail orientated, reliable and can complete tasks effectively 
  • Good communication skills
  • Ticketing system knowledge (Jira/Service Now/Zendesk) preferred 
  • Must pass background check
