$15-$16 per hour
8:00am-5pm M-F
6 Month Contract

As the Facilities Coordinator you will provides general site support through the performance of assigned tasks related to facility services, building maintenance, engineering projects, and/or equipment maintenance. 

  • Performs general facility support tasks related to one or multiple functions, such as building security issues and access system maintenance, shipping and receiving, distribution of mail to employees, furniture and equipment moves, and conference room set up. 
  • May perform building or equipment maintenance tasks including the completion of work orders, scheduled routine maintenance, preventative maintenance and repairs. 
  • May coordinate the purchase of supplies and manage supply inventories. 
  • Coordinates assigned activities with outside contractors and vendors, as needed. 
  • Receive and reconcile parcels in management system
  • Deliver parcels to end users in the labs
  • Manage Office Supplies (stocking and replenishing items daily)
  • Sort and Deliver Campus mail
  • Deliver requested supplies to offsite buildings
  • Organize and maintain our stockroom
  • Perform daily housekeeping of area
  • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification 
  • 2+ years experience working as a Facilities Coordinator or similar position.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow directions and perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Solid computer proficiency 
  • Thorough understanding of office equipment and machinery 
  • May require working knowledge of building and maintenance such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC and construction codes 
  • May require thorough knowledge of shipping service operations and software such as FedEx, UPS, etc. 
  • May require a good understanding of security systems 
  • May require a general understanding of building automation system (BAS), asset tracking, and/or inventory monitoring 
  • Work is performed in an office, laboratory, and/or clinical environment with exposure to electrical equipment. 
  • May occasionally drive to site locations. Potential Occasional travel required. 
  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moving) objects, including luggage and laptop computer, with a maximum lift of 25 lbs. required frequently. 
  • Lifting / carrying objects of 26-50+ lbs. required occasionally
