As the Benefits Manager you will be responsible for the day to day administration of all benefit programs and implementation of benefit initiatives.  In this position you will be reporting to the Head of HR.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement, administer, and communicate global benefit programs such as 401k/pension, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, voluntary programs, wellness, ect.
  • Resolve any questions or concerns, support with benefit implementation, US open enrollment, and distribute benefits communication materials to internal staff.
  • Manage vendor relationships and conduct audits of vendor systems to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with managing benefits and leaves in Workday.
  • Oversee leave of absences.
  • Create compensation surveys to analyze benefits information.
  • Work with HRBP’s, Finance, Recruiting, and other parts of the company to provide guidance to benefits to our people and candidates.
  • Follow employment related federal and state statutory requirements regarding employee benefits- stay up to date with benefits-related legislation.
Qualifications:
  • BA and 8+ years of experience working in benefits administration- benefits analysis, leave administration, Open Enrollment, and process improvement.
  • Previous experience working in the tech industry.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPPA, FMLA, Paid Paternity Leave, and other benefit regulations.
  • Knowledge of Federal, California, and San Francisco benefits laws.
  • Advanced in Excel- experience building dashboards and automating reports.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Open to giving and receiving feedback.
  • Workday experience is a plus!
